2:19 am - Wow.....!!!
ARIES (March 21-April 19)
Free Will Astrology
Week of January 24, 2002
"Kinky is using a feather," begins one of the gems of folk wisdom circulating on the Internet. "Perverted is using the whole chicken." Make that your cautionary metaphor for the coming weeks, Aries. You will have cosmic license to indulge in all manner of extravagant, exploratory, exotic adventures. The only way the license will be revoked is if you try to get far too much of every good thing.
12:07 am - Wow!!!!
I can't believe that since I lost my job I have come so far in a new profession! I answered an add that said Rock N'Roll atmosphere needing managers. They called me back for the interview and I was asked if I wanted to go on a full day of observation with one of their managers. Turned out it was loading up a bunch of nice wood-framed art pieces (Van Gogh, Monet, Picasso, Dali, Kincaid, Ansel Adams, Diego Rivera) and selling it door to door to business or whomever crosses your path. The first day I went out on my own I came back early crying saying that I coulnt' do that job. Then, I was convinced to go on a retrain and I have been steadil y doing better since and "getting" the whole gigs.
Last year in the company, no one sales person did over 200 sales in a week until December. I am a newcomer who goes on my first road trip and I bust out a 244! I have the whole company's attentiona nd they are very impressed. I'm stoked! JUICE!!!

Fair weather ***
Valid during many months: This influence provides a great opportunity for taking a good look at certain sore points in your past. We all suffer from various incurable wounds, most of which were inflicted early in life and are so painful because they have no meaning. A typical example of this would be a child trying to act as go-between during a heated argument between its parents. The child wants to negotiate, arbitrate, comfort or pacify even when the situation is hopeless. How quickly the good intentions, and the love of a child for its parents, are countered with hurtful words or worse, when actually the child has nothing to do with it! Feelings of inferiority, particularly with regard to one's own body and sexuality, can often be traced back to early experiences of, mostly unintended, rejection, dismissal or injury.
Such wounds do not heal, even with time. Instead they start hurting again, given certain 'weather conditions' or influences. If this occurs, subconsciously we will withdraw into ourselves in interpersonal situations, or be oversensitive and react in a hurt manner without apparent reason. At worst we ourselves become particularly hurtful, without actually wanting to, perhaps without even being aware of it.
However, if the weather is fair, as it is during this time, you have the opportunity to bring these painful things to light. This involves not only a personal conversation with your partner, a therapist, astrologer or other adviser whom you trust, but also great bravery and ruthless honesty. Probing each painful experience in this way will not reduce the pain and senselessness of your wound, but you can be freer in your behavior, your close relationships, and in your relation with your body ≠ and prevent yourself from hurting others.

It's supposed to rain the entire time up in Ashland, OR where I'll be visiting my family. Happy Happy.....joy.........joy. :(
...and on top of that Dave decided that we definitely do not have Friday off therefore I will not get paid for both Wed and Friday since he is not letting me use my accrued vacation time that will be available for us after Jan 1st. Even better! So that's 1/2 of my X-mas money. This is just fabulous! Well, it'll be a lot of home-made art project style gifts this year.
THIS FUCKING SUCKS!!! I haven't feel this violent inside in awhile. :(
current mood: pissed off
12:49 pm - Woah...
I just spoke with an Excel customer who's name was Claudio Salazar and his voice sounded almost identical to Shea's except that he had more of a mexican accent. What a trip.

1:42 pm - Aaaah...
I was extremely productive yesterday and cleaned my entire apt. It feels so good to have a clean home. What is most amazing to me is that I was able to move that funky-ass couch out of my apt ALL BY MYSELF...and it wasn't very hard at all. I didn't have to do all this maneuvering or anything. I'm surprised that it was so hard to get it in considering it was a cinch to get it out. Whew. What a relief. After I left Moriah's in the morning I took her idea and got myself a coffee...er...a double espresso con panna...which is what got me motivated to clean. Then, I didn't eat all day until about 3pm when I felt all tweaked out and realized...oh yeah...I'd better eat something...lol.
So anyway, I put that long table where the couch was and took down the Halloween stuff (about time) and started putting some X-mas stuff up. Tonight I'm going to put up some lights on my window and bust out as much stuff as I can so that when I get home from my Thankgiving trip my apt will be decorated. Then, in only about 2 weeks it'll be time to get a tree! I'm definitely going the IKEA route again this year. Pay $20 for a tree and then as long as you recycle it then they give you a $20 gift certificate for their store which can be redeemed in January or after. I mean, what a deal! The trees are a nice size too. I know exactly where in my home I'm going to put it too. Yay! :)
I can't believe that Thanksgiving is this week and that Christmas is less than five weeks away! It's crazy! Thanksgiving with my family and then Christmas with my surrogate family...LOL! :) It's become a tradition by now because this will be the third year in a row. Wow, trip out. I think that this year will be the best of them all. First of all, Shea is home which is a big deal...second of all, it'll be at Cindy's new nice big cute apt...and thirdly, I've gotten to know everyone better and have bonded more so it all falls into place. Yay! :)

10:03 am - This poem was written by a Marine stationed in Okinawa Japan...
'TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS,
HE LIVED ALL ALONE
IN A ONE BEDROOM HOUSE MADE OF
PLASTER AND STONE.
I HAD COME DOWN THE CHIMNEY
WITH PRESENTS TO GIVE,
AND TO SEE JUST WHO
IN THIS HOME DID LIVE.
I LOOKED ALL ABOUT,
A STRANGE SIGHT I DID SEE,
NO TINSEL, NO PRESENTS,
NOT EVEN A TREE.
NO STOCKING BY MANTLE,
JUST BOOTS FILLED WITH SAND,
ON THE WALL HUNG PICTURES
OF FAR DISTANT LANDS.
WITH MEDALS AND BADGES,
AWARDS OF ALL KINDS,
A SOBER THOUGHT
CAME THROUGH MY MIND.
FOR THIS HOUSE WAS DIFFERENT,
IT WAS DARK AND DREARY,
I FOUND THE HOME OF A SOLDIER,
ONCE I COULD SEE CLEARLY.
THE SOLDIER LAY SLEEPING,
CURLED UP ON THE FLOOR
IN THIS ONE BEDROOM HOME.
THE FACE WAS SO GENTLE,
THE ROOM IN SUCH DISORDER,
NOT HOW I PICTURED
A UNITED STATES SOLDIER.
WAS THIS THE HERO OF WHOM I'D JUST READ?
CURLED UP ON A PONCHO, THE FLOOR FOR A BED?
I REALIZED THE FAMILIES
THAT I SAW THIS NIGHT,
OWED THEIR LIVES TO THESE SOLDIERS
WHO WERE WILLING TO FIGHT.
SOON ROUND THE WORLD,
THE CHILDREN WOULD PLAY,
AND GROWNUPS WOULD CELEBRATE
A BRIGHT CHRISTMAS DAY.
THEY ALL ENJOYED FREEDOM
EACH MONTH OF THE YEAR,
BECAUSE OF THE SOLDIERS,
LIKE THE ONE LYING HERE.
I COULDN'T HELP WONDER
HOW MANY LAY ALONE,
ON A COLD CHRISTMAS EVE
IN A LAND FAR FROM HOME.
THE VERY THOUGHT
BROUGHT A TEAR TO MY EYE,
I DROPPED TO MY KNEES
AND STARTED TO CRY.
THE SOLDIER AWAKENED
AND I HEARD A ROUGH VOICE,
"SANTA DON'T CRY,
THIS LIFE IS MY CHOICE;
I FIGHT FOR FREEDOM,
I DON'T ASK FOR MORE,
MY LIFE IS MY GOD,
MY COUNTRY, MY CORPS."
THE SOLDIER ROLLED OVER
AND DRIFTED TO SLEEP,
I COULDN'T CONTROL IT,
I CONTINUED TO WEEP.
I KEPT WATCH FOR HOURS,
SO SILENT AND STILL
AND WE BOTH SHIVERED
FROM THE COLD NIGHT'S CHILL.
I DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE
ON THAT COLD, DARK, NIGHT,
THIS GUARDIAN OF HONOR
SO WILLING TO FIGHT.
THEN THE SOLDIER ROLLED OVER,
WITH A VOICE SOFT AND PURE,
WHISPERED, "CARRY ON SANTA,
IT'S CHRISTMAS DAY, ALL IS SECURE."
ONE LOOK AT MY WATCH, AND I KNEW HE WAS RIGHT.
"MERRY CHRISTMAS MY FRIEND, AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT."
9:32 am - How true this is...
